• 'SILVER DREAM' edition  ( XENO2 2nd resurrection)
This is second revision of XENO 2 and made specially for 4x4 EVO 2 platform. Also for the first time shown as the original standard facelift of real XENO 2 designs from SupermotoXL labs. The model's 3D meshes have been HEAVILY improve and the 3d faces and edges have been break and partition so that each surface of the body will receive proper amount of vertex shading and lighting effect from 4x4 EVO2 graphics engine via Texture and Lighting capability.  This produce proper shiny chrome effect rendered every corner of XENO 2 models.  Special layer of texture channel also included to filter out few portion of chrome particle to give a sense of real life "Rough Polish Aluminum" effect along the body contour and patterns.  In the game simulation XENO 2 displayed the most impressive pose of off-road vehicle ever made with the help of today's latest graphic rendering hardware.  The silver chrome effect on XENO2 truly reflect XENO 2 as "Knights in Shining Armor".   The revival  of "XENO 2 CD 8.2s XL-SE" in evo2 as original standard off-roader is to give a clear picture of how SupermotoXL's vehicle would look like in the real world.  The introduction of "SILVER DREAM" edition giving chances for 4x4EVO2 fans to see SupermotoXL's emulated real life silver metal in action.  Also proving once again the relic legacy 4x4VEO2 sim is not yet laid resting in the grave.  Others than its jaw dropping silver spoon graphics effect XENO 2 in-game driving performance have been upgraded for extra mobility and fun.  Wheel stance width between two wheels have been extended to provide better stability and cornering.  Suspensions system are more supple to take over various terrains.  Shocks damping heights increase and angle of clearance well tuned.  The headlights and rear brake lights have been improve.  Winch have been added and can be bought via CAREER MODE.  With all nice feature in both graphics and game play in XENO 2 requires high requirement to run in EVO2.  XENO 2 for EVO2 requires advance and updated graphics hardware with Texture and lighting capability to take advantages over the models graphics feature and gameplay.  Optimal graphics card recommended at least Ge-Force FX 5600 or latest ATI to cope up with high poly meshes and to speed up the "Environment Reflection" update on the 3d surface.   Please read the 'Silver Dream'manual before using this vehicle and make sure you computer system meets all the standards and system requirements.   Failing to read, understand and not fulfilling the requirements will results in unexpected error and undesirable effect.
 
• Design History  (Original background)
  Human imagination is indeed the most powerful to tools to construct a new life.  XENO2 is an example of entity that was born from those organic imagination.  Reasons for XENO2 existence is to give an idea of concept design off-roader.  RADICAL, EXOTIC and DYNAMIC are 3 vital key element that makes XENO2 to its present design.  My first design 'XENO' was sketched in 1999, the idea was to create exotic 2 seater urban SUV which have several characteristic of a normal sports car but in form of hardpacked low-rider SUV.  The original configuration of first model XENO was low-rider setup, widebody kent-spoiler and muscular bodykit: this mimic the need of urban exotic designs.  However the design couldn't be implemented but later designed as high tower AWD off-roader in 2003. The current model carry the last initial # "2" which marks second variant of the early prototype model 'XENO'.  In the game XENO 2 have numerous feature such as customizable and removable part such as front hood, bushbar, skirting, spoiler and etc.  By default the models comes exposed front engine designed in highly detailed parts, complex under carriage, axle, linkage, suspension system, bulk size disc brake, calipers, deep thread tyre, heavy duty riveted wheels set and etc.  XENO 2 will sure to fill the heart of any 4x4 enthusiast.  The original models of XENO2 was constructed for high resolution graphic, support multiple texturing (DDS), high GPU requirements and quality internal/external models.  XENO2 built on high poly features like high detailed cockpit, engine, axle, brake disc caliper, manifold, exhaust port, movable vertical swing scissors door and hood.  Wheels and tyre threads quality are maximised to the max.  Since demand for XENO2 to appear in 4x4evo game is high the models quality was then reduces to half to meet the game specification.  The original uncompiled models are kept for future simulation use.  Even the models compiled into 4x4 evo is half quality from its original form but still the quality in the game remain two fold better than default stock models which come in with the game itself.

The "Recommended" system should able to handle to handle both vital feature in 4x4 EVO2:

In-game setup

User must activate several setting to make 'SILVER DREAM edition' model possible, below are the setting you should turn on in 4x4 Evolution 2 game:

Fail to follow the above graphic setup in the game will results in visual error on the models.  'SILVER DREAM edition' is all about turning on the Reflection feature to bring out the shiny silver chrome feature in the game. Remember to turn the 'Reflection' option to  HIGH  setting.

 

In-game FAQ

User may experience several abnormal graphics that cannot be avoided due to 4x4 EVO2 game characteristics.

  • In the [Career] showroom and garage: Silver chrome feature won't be displayed in the garage or purchasing showroom in career mode because specific lighting for silver reflection is absent in those mode. This is normal in 4x4 EVO 2 game.
  • On the track/racing:  With the Reflection option on in the graphic menu, when you run/drive the car/truck models in the track either racing/ quick race or etc as long it stays on the track environment the silver chrome reflection will be displayed throughout the game play. 
  • (Optional) Revert to original details:  User may also able to enjoy the original characteristics of each vehicle models, by turning OFF the 'Reflection' option the transparency effect will be restored to normal and the original looks of 4x4 EVO1 will be displayed.

If you've meet the above requirement and follow the exact instruction you should have no problem running the vehicle models in 4x4 EVOLUTION 2.  Remember to turn on the Reflection option to HIGH. Enjoy and experience stunning graphics and jaw dropping details ever made in the game.
