As you can see the cut out groove behind the front wheel fender the long arched vent have been remodeled (cut in ) and each vertical section have been partitioned by aerofoil fins into 5 to vent out heat and other emmision out from the engine hood. The curvy vents extended all the way until beneath the door gap giving a classical retro looks of the 50's car where the front wheel fenders bulks up the entire front line giving an exagerated impresssion of powerfull front engine spec.
