This flying site is located in the center of a town called 'Miri', a very lively public field surrounded with urban infrastructures, shops, busy road and hills nearby. Its a very active field full of public recreational activity, sports and other public function that attract lots of attention. Its used to be a place where our R/C club do some park flying with our flight models. Its a moderate yet very encapsulated field size spanning around approximately 148m x 90m on the ground ideal for slow flying, localized aerobatic, 3D flights and STOL/VTOL models such as helicopters and rotored craft. The wind is also mostly calm on all season because the field is well protected from wind as the area is wedge between walls of infrastructures and hill side which makes flying more easy and predictable without turbulences. As for me this vicinity is quite nostalgic and memorable back in the early years in the 1980's where i used to do lots of activities in this field and surrounding when i was young. Which is why i've decided to replicate this site into virtual field for PHOENIX R/C SIMULATOR so i can enjoy and re-lived those nostalgic moments.
